Our Spiritual disciplines

The habits by which we grow together

God wants his people to become godly like Jesus, and daily self-discipline helps us grow in spiritual maturity. At Aradhana, we seek to grow in the spiritual disciplines of:

  1. Worship:

Worship is a daily humbling of oneself before God's majesty and mercy towards us in Jesus.

  2. Personal holiness:

Holiness means to separate ourselves from sin in our thoughts and actions everyday so we can delight in God and serve him.

  3. Bible reading:

God gives us the Bible to help us become holy and wise. Blessed is the one who reads it daily and lives by it.

  4. Prayer:

Personal prayer is the privilege and duty of speaking to the God of all power and comfort, opening your heart to Him honestly, and seeking His guidance daily.

  5. Service:

We serve others regularly, thinking of them as more important than ourselves, as Jesus did the same for us.

  6. Fellowship:

We gather regularly to encourage one another to love and do good. This helps us grow strong together in faith and unity.

  7. Witnessing:

We regularly seek opportunities to help people know Jesus as Lord and Saviour.
